About Us

Glitters of Hope Charity - Association is a Non-Governmental Organization based in Buea, and is hereby created this day 5th January 2021, with the undersigned persons constituting the membership of the association and shall be governed by the provisions of Law No 90/53 of 19th December 1990.

The association shall be known and called “GLITTERS OF HOPE CHARITY- ASSOCIATION.” Hereby abbreviated as “Glohoc”

This organization shall be a non-political, non-sectarian, and non-profit making organization. It’s a humanitarian socio-economic organization that seeks to empower women and youths on health and good health practices, education in information technology, womens’ sexual health rights and contribute towards the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals in Cameroon and improve the quality of lives of beneficiaries and the communities in which they live.

Considering the continuous prevalence of HIV/AIDS, further complicated by a pandemic such as the COVID-19, endemic diseases such as malaria and other waterborne diseases in our communities,

Considering the importance of livelihood skill development in an era whereby technology advancement is accelerating at a very fast pace despite vulnerable people struggling to keep up,

Considering that Women’s sexual health rights continues to be an issue in a society whereby there is a steady rise of the number of vulnerable people

Considering that the Sustainable Development Goals need to be attained within a short time frame.

MISSION
Our mission is to ensure every vulnerable elderly person has access to adequate health counsel, every young girl’s menstrual and sexual health rights are respected and that every youth has appropriate IT skills that will enable them to compete equally in the job market so that they can become self-reliant and contribute to the development of the communities where they find themselves.
VISION
A world in which everyone has access to health counsel and opportunities in IT skills development no matter their life situation.
VALUE
Glohoc seeks to instill alert medical practices for the elderly, awareness and preparedness in information technology and ensure that the menstrual and sexual heath rights of vulnerable young girls are respected
GOAL
To facilitate access to capacity development in information technology for vulnerable young people, appropriate health counsel for elderly and advocate for the promotion of menstrual and sexual health rights for vulnerable young girls in our communities and contribute to the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals.
